As we mark a decade in business, join us in celebrating 10 years of success with a look back at 10 major milestones on the road to En Route.

  1. And so it begins

    2007

    En Route Consulting launches as tourism marketing consulting business. The first projects include managing Mural Arts Month for the City of Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program and developing a tourism master plan for Union County, New Jersey.

  2. Planting tourism seeds in the Garden State

    2008

    The South Jersey Tourism Corporation engages En Route to develop tourism product and marketing campaigns, and to launch a series of Tourism Assessment Programs with individual counties throughout the region.

  3. Bigger clients, expanded reach

    2009Harrah’s Entertainment brings En Route to Atlantic City to develop strategies to promote its four casino properties as destinations for LGBT travelers.

  4. Mixing marketing with product development

    2010

    En Route whips up some culinary creativity to create the Gingerbread House Display at The Shops at Liberty Place as a mechanism to promote the Historic Houses of Fairmount Park Holiday House Tours.

  5. En Route goes global

    2012

    En Route joins the Fabulous Philadelphians in China to help The Philadelphia Orchestra launch its five-year China Residency Program promoting cultural diplomacy.

  6. Bringing the influencers to our clients

    2013

    After En Route aids the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau in hosting the American Bus Association’s 2012 Marketplace, the CVB taps En Route to secure and manage the Active America China Summit in Philadelphia.

  7. Project management skills and reliability lead to new routes

    2014

    With new funding in place to relaunch the Philly PHLASH tourist loop, the Independence Visitor Center Corporation onboards En Route to help select a new operator, new vehicles, and new visitor-friendly plans to enhance the vital transit service.

  8. We wrote the plan for tourism growth

    2014

    En Route is selected by the City of Philadelphia Tourism & Hospitality Task Force to convene a study and report addressing tourism need periods and product development to drive visitation.

  9. Reaching new heights with new attractions

    2015

    Montparnasse 56, a global tourism company based in Paris, hires En Route to lead pre-opening planning and group sales strategy for the new One Liberty Observation Deck.

  10. Turning community events into marketing magic

    2016

    En Route’s second year promoting the Chestnut Hill Harry Potter Festival generates global media coverage and trending content on social media. Attendance increased more than 220%.
